Salt beds in Bonaire, Caribbean sea

Bonaire is a special municipality of the Netherlands in the Caribbean sea. For over three centuries, the island's culture and prosperity was dependent upon the production of salt. The stunning salt beds in Pekelmeer are famous not only for the salt production, they are also home to one of the hemisphere's great populations of flamingos.

Thank you very much, Mike!
