A postcard from St.Lucia (UNESCO 1161)

A view to Soufrière town and to the Pitons, two giant volcanic plugs which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A parrot at the bottom of the card is a Saint Lucia Amazon. It is endemic to Saint Lucia and is the country's national bird. On one of the stamps it's also possible to see this parrot which is represented in the country's Coat of Arms.

UNESCO WHS: #1161 / Natural / 2004

Sent by myself during my trip to St. Lucia
