Traditional dancers and musicians from Dominica

Traditional Carib dancers and musicians from Dominica island. Dominica is  an island in the Lesser Antilles region of the Caribbean Sea. Its size is 750 km², population is app. 71,000 people.

Dominica is the only Eastern Caribbean island that still has a population of pre-Columbian native Caribs, who were exterminated or driven from neighboring islands. There are only about 3,000 Caribs remaining. They live in eight villages on the east coast of Dominica [source: Wikipedia]
